A quaint little church...

Yesterday, I drove myself and my parents out into the country to take pictures. We ended up in the outskirts of Gurley. There is a very small church that we have stopped at once before a few years ago to take pictures. It is called Gurley Church of Jesus. Abandoned and not very well constructed, it has fallen to vandalism. Every single window is broken, and ragged curtains move with the wind through the shattered glass. When one first goes there, they would think it eerie and a bit scary, but once you walk around and touch the building, you realize that it is a place to be cherished and captured in memories. This old place of worship seemed almost sacred to me...

First-time blogger

Well, I have never done this before, but I have a feeling I'm going to like it! I am a southern girl with green eyes, dark strawberry-blonde hair, and I am 5'9. I have just over this past year taken an interest in photography, and I received a really nice Panasonic camera for Christmas. I have many hobbies, and hopefully some of them will come out in my photos as well as a part of myself that I love to share! I also love my Savior, Jesus Christ, with all my heart. I strive for a better relationship with Him each day. Well, let me see how this works, lol! Please comment! I really need some opinions on my photos, as I hope to make a business out of it someday.
